But man I really like how well the prequel compliments it. First game was done without any intention of a prequel existing so the prequel can't do anything that the first game 'needs'. So for the story, obviously it didn't need to be told. Origins does some things better, somethings different, and some things worse, so there isn't a clear winner. I've been meaning to get my gamecube back out forever and replay them (or hey Monolith, give us a rerelease). I'm not sure which one I'd pick out as the better overall game.
